Musings concerning Brain Dump

Alright, let's get this with my thoughts. This whole brain dump thing is really interesting. I find it fascinating how many random ideas just bounced in there all the time. It's like a organized mess, but sometimes that mess produces something useful.

  • An example I've noticed is that my brain functions optimally when I'm not thinking about anything in particular.
  • Other times, though, I lose momentum and have to force myself to brainstorm.
  • In my opinion to just keep going. Even if it takes time, the right idea will sooner or later come to you.

A Crazy Week Lately

This past/recent/last week has been absolutely insane/chaotic/crazy. I feel like I've been running on coffee/pure adrenaline/a lot of sleep deprivation. Between work/school/my hobbies, there hasn't been a single/spare/free moment to relax/catch my breath/just chill.

On Monday/To kick things off/At the start/beginning/onset of the week, I had {a major deadline/a mountain/an avalanche of work due. Then Tuesday/Wednesday brought a sudden trip/unexpected event/unforeseen circumstance that totally threw me off/threw a wrench in my plans/derailed my schedule. By Thursday/Friday, I was just trying to keep my head above water/stay afloat/make it through the day.

On Blog the bright side/, Luckily, though/ Despite all the craziness, there were a few bright spots/some good moments/a couple of silver linings. I {finally finished/completed/got done that project/task/assignment that's been bugging me/hanging over my head/weighing on my mind, and I had a really fun/amazing/memorable dinner/date night/night out with friends/family/my significant other.

It's definitely been a week to remember/never forget/not soon be forgotten, but I'm {looking forward to/ready for/excited about some much-needed rest/downtime/relaxation this weekend.

Adventures in DIY: Project Fail (or Win?)
